The S.S. Galila sailed for Israel today from Bari carrying 1,000 Jewish refugees from Austria. Earlier, it was reported that a group of 300 Israel-bound Jewish refugees from Tripoli, Shanghai and DP camps in Bari sailed aboard the S.S. Eilot for Haifa.
Israel is participating in the International Cattle Breeding Congress which is being hold here this week. The Israeli delegate is M. Finci.
