Israeli Consulate in London Issuing 30-40 Visas Daily; Many Go to British Businessmen

The Israeli Consulate here is now issuing between 30 and 40 visas daily, many of them to British businessmen interested in potential markets in Israel that the pending British-Israeli trade talks may open. About a quarter of the vices issued here ere for persons wishing to settle permanently in Israel, part of whom ere included in the 1,000 Chalutzim who will proceed to Israel under an “assisted immigration scheme” over a three-month period.
