Allan Bronfman, honorary vice-president of the Canadian Jewish Congress, has been named Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur, by the French Government, according to a letter from the Ambassador at Ottawa. Bronfman recently led a Canadian goodwill mission to France which brought a gift of flour to the people of Troyes, on the occasion of centenary observations here.
