More than 12,000 persons participated in a Madison Square Garden celebration last night marking Israel’s first anniversary. The rally was held under the auspices of the United Charity Institutions of Jerusalem, with Rep. Ezanuel Celler serving as chairman. Proceeds from the celebration were earmarked for the organization’s beneficiary institutions in Jerusalem.
