A group of 92 Shanghai Jewish refugees on route to Canada is expected to land at Everett Field here tomorrow. The DP’s are scheduled to continue on to British Vancouver by bus.
An unconfirmed report reaching here today said that units of the U.S. Navy evacuated a group of 172 Shanghai Jews from the beleaguered Chinese city to Tokyo. Present estimates place the number of Jews still in Shanghai at l,500.
