Chair of Political Science Set Up at Brandeis; Mrs. Roosevelt Named to Board of Trustees

Establishment of the Max Richter Chair of Political Science at Brandeis University was announced today by Dr. Abram L. Sachar, president. A trust fund estimated to be in excess of $150,000 will be presented to the University for the new Chair, named in honor of the late New York philanthropist and industrialist.

George Alpert, president of the Board of Trustees, announced today that Mrs. Kleanor Roosevelt has been elected to the University’s Board at the same time it was announced that Benjamin Friedman, all-American quarterback at the University of Michigan, has been appointed director of the University’s athletic activities.
