New Protest on Appointment of Jew As Greek Envoy to Israel is Voiced in Parliament

Another protest against the appointment of Dr. Joseph Mallah, a Jew, as Greece’s envoy to Israel was made in the Chamber of Deputies today by M. Thivaios, member of Parliament. He asserted that “the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs will now become a branch office of the World Jewish Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel,” and claimed that the action would be to the disadvantage of “Greece’s long friendship with the Arab countries.
