Norwegian Parliament Ratifies U.N. Convention on Genocide; Becomes First Nation to Act

The Norwegian Parliament today ratified the U.N. convention on genocide, according to word received at United Nations headquarters here from Oslo. The ratification — which was unanimous — makes Norway the first nation to approve the genocide convention.
