George B. McKibbin, former official of the American Military Government in Germany, left today by air for Europe on a special volunteer mission for the National Conference of Christians and Jews to assist in the establishment of new human relations programs abroad. His work will keep him overseas for three months.
The new programs will be conducted in cooperation with the International Council of Christians and Jews, created in 1947 to carry on in Europe the work of the N.C.C.J. in promoting understanding and better inter-group relations among Protestants, Catholics and Jews, according to Dr. Everett R. Clinchy, N.C.C.J. president.
