Representatives of the B’nai B’rith Youth Council and the Protestant Youth Council held interfaith conferences in Chicago and Bridge-hampton, L.I., during the week-end, with Jewish and non-Jewish college students attending seminars and workshops designed to inform one group of the religious and cultural heritage of the other. Additional interfaith youth parleys, sponsored by the Anti-Defamation League, are planned in the near future in Minneapolis and Denver.
Students attending the week-end meeting here decided to set up a permanent interfaith youth council. A proposal that Jewish and Protestant youths work together during the year at interfaith work camps to foster better understanding was also outlined.
