The conference summoned by Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin of Britain’s envoys to Middle Eastern countries will be held here Thursday, a Foreign Office spokesman announced today. The parley was originally scheduled to open yesterday.
The Middle East correspondent of the London Daily Telegraph reported today that the “Arab peoples are looking to the London conference of Middle Eastern ambassadors in the hope that intentions will emerge there to transform their wastelands, with the help of other agencies.”
