The three members of the United Nations Conciliation Commission for Palestine today resumed their efforts here, after a three-week suspension, to bring about permanent peace between Israel and the Arab countries.

The Conciliation Commission this morning received privately the delegations of four Arab countries and met with the Israeli delegation in the afternoon.

(In Tel Aviv, the Israeli Government announced that Gershon Hirsoh would head the Israeli delegation at Lausanne, pending the arrival there soon of Dr. Walter Eytan, director-general of the Israeli Foreign Ministry.)
