The United Nations headquarters here today received a cabled report from the U.N. Conciliation Commission at Lausanne indicating that there is reason to assume that the resumed Arab-Israeli peace talks will now be culminated successfully.
“The Arab and Israeli delegations have given express assurances regarding their intention to collaborate with the Commission with a view to the definitive settlement of the Palestine problem and to establishment of a just and permanent peace in Palestine,” the cabled report said.
