An appeal to colleges throughout the U.S. to ban new student groups which practice discrimination on grounds of religion, race or political belief was issued here by the National Student Association. The organization, at a meeting with 1,000 delegates in attendance, recommended:

“Wherever feasible and where consonant with state laws students initiate through their student governments changes in school regulations which would prohibit recognizing new student groups which have discriminatory clauses in their constitutions and charters.”
