U.N. Secretary-general Meets with American Officials on Economic Plans for Middle East

U.N. Secretary-General Trygve Lie, Assistant Secretary of State George C. McGhee and Gordon R. Clapp, chairman of the Tennessee Valley Authority, conferred here yesterday on plans for the economic survey group set up by the U.N. Conciliation Commission, which is headed by Mr. Clapp. The results of their conversation were not divulged.
