An agreement between nationalized Rumanian firms and private Israel companies providing for the exchange of $3,000,000 worth of goods was signed today. The Rumanians will send timber for orange crates, cattle and agricultural products to Israel, while they will receive from the Jewish state citrus oils, razor blades, pharmaceuticals and artificial teeth.
Involved in the deal are the sale by Rumania of 12,000 tons of ground salt, 1,000 tons of sunflower seed cake and 900 tons of millet, the last two serving as feed for cattle. In addition, a limited barter arrangement has been concluded for the exchange of Rumanian writing paper and artificial dentures manufactured in Israel.
