Dr. Peiser Leaves Philadelphia Jewish Federation; Takes Post at Pennsylvania University

The resignation of Dr. Kurt Peiser From his post as executive vice-president of the Federation of Jewish Charities and the Allied Jewish Appeal here was announced here today, simultaneously with an announcement that Dr. Peiser has been appointed to a top-ranking administrative position at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Peiser will assume the post of Director of Development of the University on January l. Samuel H. Daroff, president of the Allied Jewish Appeal, Elias Wolf, president of the Federation of Jewish Charities, and Dr. Peiser himself, emphasized today that although he is ending his professional connection with those organizations, he will remain active in their behalf. In particular, they said, provision will be made for his continued advice and guidance in coordinating the work of the A.J.A. and the Federation, through the establishment of a joint liaison committee of which Dr. Peiser will be a member.
