An indication that Belgium may soon extend de jure recognition to Israel was made today by Premier Gaston Eyskens when he received in audience the Israel envoy to the Benelux countries–Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg–Dr. Michael Amir. The Belgian Premier showed great interest in Israel developments.
