Jews in Poland who wish to leave the country to resettle in Israel can leave Poland without the slightest interference, Polish Ambassador to Italy Adam Ostrowski told a press conference here today.
Mr. Ostrowski declared that “according to an agreement between Boland and Israel, signed in Sept., 1949, the Jews in Poland can leave that country for resettlement in Israel without any obstacles.” He pointed out that Jews in Poland who leave the country to take up permanent residence in the Jewish state will lose their Polish citizenship.
