Dr. Pinkhos Churgin, of New York City, has been elected acting president of the Mizrachi Organization of America until the next Mizrachi convention in 1950, it was announced today. He succeeds Leon Gellman who left last Friday for Jerusalem to assume the chairmanship of the executive of the World Mizrachi Organization.
