Gerald L.K. Smith said here yesterday that Rep. John E. Rankin “responded” to his suggestion that a bill be introduced to outlaw the Anti-Defamation League, “a sort of Gestapo organization financed by the Jewish B’nai B’rith.” The bill was filed by Rep. Rankin on the last day of the first session of the 81st Congress last week.
Smith announced a plan to establish a legislative headquarters in Washington “where the representative would be qualified under the Federal Lobby Act for the purpose of encouraging and effecting the introduction of legislation of the anti-Semitic ‘Christian Nationalist Crusade.'” He also said “we are pleased with numerous members of both the Upper and Lower Houses of Congress,” adding that “many of them” support his principles.
