A total of 199 Jewish DP immigrants–145 of them sponsored by the United Service for New Americans–arrived here today aboard the S.S. General Bundy from Bremerhaven, Germany. (In Washington, it was announced last night by the Displaced Persons Commission that 26 percent, or about 24,000 persons, of the total number of DP immigrants who entered the U.S. under the Displaced Act of 1948 were Jews.)
