Arthur Garfield Hays, counsel to the American Civil Liberties Union, told a meeting of the New York chapter of the American Council for Judaism last night that Zionism breeds anti-Semitism by contending that Jews are merely “sojourners” in the U.S. and by encouraging differentiation between Jews and non-Jews.
