An institute for the promotion of Mexican-Israel cultural relations has been organized here under the chairmanship of Judge Alfonso F. Ramirez. Serving as vice-chairman of the new group is Dr. Adolph Fastlicht, Jewish Agency representative and Israel immigration officer in Mexico. Other members of the institute include leading Mexican political leaders, writers and artists as well as prominent Zionist figures.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
