A Midwest Region of the United Synagogue was formally established here at a two-day conference of the United Synagogues of America this week-end. The conference was attended by representatives of congregations, sisterhoods, men’s clubs and young people’s leagues from Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Wisconsin.
