The French section of the World Jewish Congress today announced that it has sent an appeal to French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman asking that the French Government intervene with the Iraq Government and in the United Nations to halt the persecution of Iraqi Jews. A letter of protest was also sent to the Iraqi Minister in Paris.
