A total of 1,391 Jewish immigrants arrived here today, 891 of them aboard the Israel transport Negba and the remaining 500 by a number of planes from Aden, British protectorate on the Arabian peninsula.
A group of 130 Moroccan Jewish children who had been receiving convalescent care in Norway arrived at Lydda airport from Oslo over the week-end. The two transport planes in which they arrived will be used to carry Jewish children in need of medical care from North Africa to Norway prier to their permanent transfer to Israel.
