One of the basic principles on which Israel’s domestic and foreign policy is based is freedom of immigration, Eliezer Halevi, Israel charge d’affaires here, declared today at a press conference. Israel will now concentrate on bringing the majority of the Jews of the world into the country.

After the press conference, which was called on the occasion of “Ingathering of the Exiles Day,” the consulate arranged a concert of Jewish music for Rumanian and foreign correspondents stationed here and for the press attaches of the various embassies and legations maintained in the Rumanian capital.
