A meeting protesting the United Nations decision to internationalize Jerusalem was held here last night under the auspices of the General Zionist Organization of France. The “eternal link” between Jerusalem and the Jewish people was emphasized by all speakers.

The role played by the American Jewish community in the upbuilding of Israel was emphasized today by Berl Locker, chairman of the Jerusalem executive of the Jewish Agency, at a reception tendered in his honor by the Agency here. Mr. Locker said the principal tasks facing Zionists in the coming year are the organization of the masses of the Jewish people behind efforts to aid Israel, setting up of Chalutz-training programs and directing mass immigration of Jews to Israel.
