President Truman today received a delegation from the National Emergency Civil Rights Mobilization, which is being held here, and told the group that he had been assured by Vice-President Barkley and Senate Majority Leader Scott Lucas that Congress will vote on a Fair Employment Practices bill even "if it takes all summer."
Over 4,000 representatives of 58 labor, civic and veterans groups, including major Jewish organizations, are attending the three-day mobilization. The delegates come from 33 states in the nation.
