Ambascador Eliahu Elath, Israel’s Ambassador to Washington, was received here by President Miguol Aleman and Foreign Minister Manuel Tello and discussed with them problems concerning relations between Mexico and the Jewish state.

Ambassador Elath addressed a mass meeting here launching the United Jewish Campaign. He also paid a visit to the offices of the Central Jewish Committee, and laid a wreath at a monument honoring the men who fell in the fight for Mexico’s independence.
