Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the World Confederation of General Zionists, declared at a press conference here today upon his return from Israel where he participated in sossions of the Zionist Actions Committee that the “Zionist Organization must be kept strong and vital, for it is the only reliable liaison between the Jewish state and the Jewish people.”
Dr. Goldstoin added: “We have become convincod of the importance of doing the unmost towards encouraging Chalutziut to help provide the Jewish state with skilled, hardy and idcalistic pioneers who will bring with them a bit of the American spirit, energy and know-how, so much admired and respected by the citizens of Israel.”
