A plaque honoring French Jews who gave their lives in World War I–which was removed by the Nazis when they occupied Paris–was found recently in the Berlin museum of the German Army and replaced today at a ceremony to its former place at the Hotel des Invalides here.

Present at the ceremony were representatives of the Israel legation here as well as of leading Jewish organizations in France. The ceremony included rekindling of a memorial light honoring the slain soldiers at the Arc de Triomphs.
