The columnist Dorothy Thompson yesterday received the first public award of the Holyland Emergency Liaison Program for her "magnificent contribution" in arousing public opinion in behalf of the Palestine Arab refugess. Accepting the scroll, Miss Thompson declared that the plight of the refugees is "a bitter well poisoning the entire political atmosphere of the Middle East.
