Henry Morgenthau, Jr., general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, has been chosen by the Independent Order of Brith Abraham as the first recipient of the organization’s Dr. Stephen S. Wise Memorial Plaque in recognition of his services in behalf of the Jewish survivors of Europe, the organization announced yesterday. The presentation will be made at the organization’s 63rd annual convention which will be held in Atlantic City June 11-13.
