Uruguayan Jews Decide to Plant Forest in Iesrael in Honor of Professor Fabregat

The Jewish community of Uruguay has decided to plant a forest in Israel on Jewish National Fund land in honor of Prof. Enrique Rodriguez Fabregat, Uruguayan delegate to the United Nations who has been a consistently staunch friend of Israel, it was announced here. The decision was taken at a meeting during which the Uruguayan diplomat voiced the hope for closer ties between this country and Israel.
