German Catholics are voicing their disapproval of the resurgence of anti-Semitism in Germany, it was reported here by the Catholic Messenger, official archdiccese publication for central Massachusetts.

The Messenger quotes Catholic newspapers in Coblenz and Cologne which blamed the recent series of anti-Semitic incidents on a small but vociferous minority. The Cologne paper, “Katholischer Beobachter,” pointing out that the Jewish people are again “being slandered and menaced,” called for unity “in carrying on a relentless struggle against those seeking to promote militarism, nationalism and anti-Semitism.”
