An Israel-France Friendship Association was formed here last night under the chairmanship of Dr. N. Bar-Zakai, president of the Tel Aviv district court. B. Radius, French charge d’affaires, welcomed formation of the new group.
The Israel Government today placed an order for 1,200 tons of kosher meat in France. It has also placed orders in Brazil and Uruguay.
