The third, and thus far largest group of Israel-bound Hungarian Jews to leave under the recent agreement between the two countries, today set out for Venice on the first leg of their journey to the Jewish state. At the Italian port city the 313 members of the group will board the vessel Arzah for the voyage to Haifa.
About 80 percent of the group consists of persons who have close relatives living in Israel, while the remainder are persons over 55 years of age. There are many more young people in this party than in the previous two.
