Dr. Nahum Goldmann, addressing a United Israel Appeal meeting here, declared today that “there is no power in the world that can force Israel to close its gates to immigration — except Jewry itself.” The Agency leader said that “Bevin couldn’t, the Arabs couldn’t — only world Jewry could by failing to meet its responsibilities.”
