B’nai B’rith Decides to Set Up Armed Services Committee; Acts on Korean Situation

Taking into consideration the Korean situation, the national executive committee of the B’nai B’rith today voted to set up a “B’nai B’rith Service Committee for the Armed Forces.”

The executive also decided to extend the work of the present B’nai B’rith Committee on Veteran Affirs on the basis of the following three-point program: 1. To continue the program of service for men and women in uniform everywhere, with respect to the present conflict; 2. To support the national civil defense program; 3. To continue service to the disabled veterans in hospitals.
