Israel Minister Eliahu Elath today called on British Foreign Secretary Ernest Bevin, at the latter’s invitation.
The three-quarters-of-an-hour conversation was on a general level, with some emphasis on the Middle East, it was revealed. British quarters described the visit as a “courtesy call” prior to Secretary Bevin’s departure from London.
