The Israel Cabinet today decided to ease up on clothing rationing by issuing more ration coupons. It was also decided to establish public committees to serve as advisory bodies to the government on changes in rationing and the marketing of locally-produced goods as well as on increasing production.

The Cabinet voted to postpone for one week a decision on a report of a commission of experts who had been instructed to draft a report on measures which might be undertaken to improve the situation.
