The Jewish community of Sydney, meeting at the Jewish War Memorial under the auspices of the Jewish Board of Deputies, yesterday protested against plans for large-scale immigration of Germans into Australia.

Speakers at the meeting, who included M. Ashkenazy, president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, said that Nazi immigrants would undermine Australian democracy.
