The United Nations Security Council today adopted an agenda which includes an Egyptian complaint against Israel and a four-fold Israel complaint against Egypt and Jordan.

The Egyptian item was entitled: “The Expulsion by Israel of Thousands of Palestinian Arabs into Egyptian Territory and the Violation by Israel of the Egyptian-Israel General Armistice Agreement.” The president of the Council, Sir Gladwyn Jebb, announced that “under this (Egyptian) item” was a document from the representative of Israel listing four complaints.

A move by Egypt to obtain priority consideration of its item was not acted upon. Unless such priority is obtained later–and this is not considered likely–the debate on the Egyptian and Israel items is not expected to take place for a considerable time because the Korea and Formosa questions are scheduled for earlier debate.
