Henry Morgenthau Jr., general chairman of the United Jewish Appeal, will said for Israel tomorrow to discuss the economic and financial needs of Israel with Premier David Ben Gurion and other members of the Israel Government.
During his ten-day visit to Israel, he will also be inducted officially as chairman of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a post which was once held by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, President of Israel. Mr. Morgenthau plans to visit various parts of the country, particularly the areas where new immigrants are being settled and new agricultural and industrial communities are being established with the aid of the U.J.A.
