Congregational Minister James W. Fifield said today that Radio Station KMPC here is “fair and impartial towards racial and religious groups.” The Federal Communication Commission has accused the station of slanting news in an anti-Semitic fashion.

Replying to a comment by a correspondent at a press conference that G.A. Richards, owner of KMPC and other stations, said that “all Jews are Communists,” Rev. Fifield declared: “I don’t think he (Richards) means it. He is explosive.” Rev. Fifield has been labelled anti-Semitic because of the nature of his own radio broadcasts, carried on another station.
