Egyptian Foreign Minister to Ask Secpetary Marshall for U.S. Arms, Washington Hears

American munitions will be asked of Secretary of Defense George C. Marshall by Egyptian Foreign Minister Mohammed Salah el-Din when the two confer here early next week, informed quarters said today. The Egyptian Foreign Minister will also meet with Secretary of State Dean Acheson and George C. Mc-Ghee, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs.

(An Associated Press dispatch from Amman reported yesterday that a new Jordanian Cabinet has been formed by Premier Said Pasha Mufti, following resignation of his former government in protest against militant policies pursued against Israel by former Foreign Minister Mohammed Shuraqi. The new Foreign Minister is Rawhi Pasha Abdul Hadi.)
