26 Nazis to Go on Trial in German Court on Charges of Participating in 1938 Pogroms

Twenty-six former Nazis are scheduled to be tried on charges of having participated in pogroms during November, 1938, before the Aschaffenburg district court within the next few weeks, it was reported here today.

The 26 participated in anti-Jewish activities in the towns of Kleinheubach, Lohr and Hoerstein. The trial of another ten Germans accused of being involved in the persecution of Jews, but without having participated directly in these activities, will be held at a later date, the report said.
