The City of Glasgow this week-end gave Rabbi Judah L. Maimon, Israel Minister for Religins, an official welcome at the municipal chambers.
Later, at a press conference, the Rev. Urie Baird of the Church of Scotland, who recently visited Israel, praised the “complete freedom of worship accorded to all denominations in Israel.” Rabbi Maimon and Rabbi Kopul Rosen, president of the British Mizrechi Federation, also attended the press conference.
